The World Cup has concluded, the monsoons have finally arrived in Mumbai and with them comes one of India's most anticipated events: The Monsoon Cup. Bringing together many of the country's top players, the tournament promises world-class competition and LITA7 is proud to be part of the action. We'll be at the venue throughout the event, supporting the sport and showcasing our latest products.
We are especially delighted with the progress of our sponsored athlete, Raaquib Merchant. Although he narrowly missed selection for the Indian team heading to the World Cup in Vietnam, he has continued to demonstrate exceptional form. A bronze medal at the Picklebay Zonal Tournament was followed by an outstanding triple gold medal performance at the Grand Prix in Mumbai. Raaquib now turns his focus to the Monsoon Cup, and we look forward to cheering him on.
Behind the scenes, LITA7 has also been busy laying the foundations for an exciting new chapter. We are thrilled to welcome Rohan Gajjar as the Director of Training. A former ATP Tour tennis professional and highly respected coach, Rohan has embraced pickleball and now competes selectively on the Asian circuit. When not on tour, he will lead our performance programmes, oversee player development, and mentor the next generation of talented athletes.
Alongside him, Priyanka Mehta continues as our Head Coach, bringing her experience, passion and commitment to developing players at every level.
There's plenty more happening at LITA7, with some exciting new experiences and initiatives set to launch in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned-the best is yet to come.
